Tactical Security Guard (23/Hr)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any suspicious activities are reported promptly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure safety within the facility.
• Assist visitors and employees as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment while maintaining security protocols.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or emergencies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while making quick decisions.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
• Physical fitness is essential; candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Use of Force Certification Required (Able to make physical arrests
• Physically strong
• Trained in verbal De-Escalation
