Event Security Guard

We’re Hiring: Security Guards for High-Profile Event | this full uniform guard must be able to feel comfortable to wear level 3A bulletproof vest.

GuardPro Security Inc. is seeking professional and reliable security personnel for an upcoming high-profile event. We are looking who are confident, well-trained, and capable of handling dynamic environments high stress environments.

Positions Available:

2 Female Security Guards

1 Male Security Guard

Qualifications & Requirements:

First Aids CPR Standard Level C certification required

Valid Ontario Security Guard License

Use of Force Certification (mandatory) guards required to be trained for handcuff baton

Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act

Knowledge of the power of arrest.

Minimum experience in security, one year to two years in a special event events or healthcare.

Knowledge of the De-escalation training and Strong communication skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Effective problem-solving abilities

Physically capable of standing for extended periods

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risk
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
• Enforce access control policies by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings to management

Qualification

• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
• Ability to stand for extended periods and patrol large areas as needed
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining safety standards
• Certification in security training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.30-$18.00 per hour
