Security Guard/Concierge

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.

This is a full-time weekday shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with legal regulations related to security operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• A valid security guard license or certification may be required based on local regulations.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
