Job Description
Job Title: Static Security Guard
Job Location: Toronto
Salary: $17.60 per hour
Type: Seasonal/Temporary – 1 month contract from June 01 2026-July 01 2026. Full time and part time hours available within that duration.
Shifts: Any shift (days or nights)
Security Guard
Flex Point Security is seeking dedicated and professional Static Security Guards to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their staff, and the public through vigilance, professionalism, and excellent customer service. This is a temporary, 30 day contract.
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid Emergency Level C First Aid and CPR certificate
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven, excellent observational and reporting skills
- Strong situational awareness
- Ability to de-escalate
- Willing to be on-call and respond to emergencies
- Post-secondary education in Police Foundations, Security and Investigations, Criminology, Community and Justice Services, or Law is considered an asset
- G-Level Driver’s License (preferred)
- Clean drivers abstract (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patrols of assigned area
- Conduct various duties as assigned
- Deter and report any suspicious activity
- Respond to emergencies
- Stay in constant communication with dispatch and operations supervisor
- Submit daily reports to the Operations team using FPS’ reporting system
- Conduct a vehicle inspection and submit a vehicle report each shift (if vehicle is required)
- Clean the car each shift (if vehicle is required)
- Report and escalate any issues at patrolled sites to FPS Management and emergency services as necessary
