What Your Days Will Look Like

• Screen passengers and their personal belongings with rigour, professionalism, and in compliance with national aviation security standards

• Ensure that no prohibited items gain access to secure areas

• Manage access to restricted areas consistently and with vigilance

• Remain alert and respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and violations

• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats

• Accurately document and report security-related incidents, violations, and concerns

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent

• A clean criminal record with eligibility to obtain the required aviation security clearance (RAIC), which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

• Ability to work on-site at Sault Ste. Marie Airport (YAM) in Sault Ste. Marie

• Bilingualism (English and French) is required to effectively serve an international clientele
