Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves monitoring activities, enforcing safety protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and experience in surveillance or law enforcement. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a secure environment while developing skills in loss prevention and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing assistance or contacting law enforcement if necessary
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement agencies as needed to ensure safety protocols are followed
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations consistently across the facility

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet any licensing requirements applicable in the jurisdiction
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if required
