Job Overview

Sentry Security Group is hiring experienced Mobile Security Guards for high-responsibility patrol operations. This is a demanding and active role requiring full commitment, physical fitness, and strict adherence to patrol procedures.

This is NOT a passive driving or sitting position. Guards are expected to perform intensive foot patrols and full property inspections at multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strict and time-sensitive patrols across multiple sites during night shifts
• Perform full building inspections, including:
• Stairwells
• Parking garages
• Common areas
• Exterior perimeters
• Complete primarily foot patrols at each site (no vehicle patrols on-site)
• Use mobile vehicle only for traveling between sites
• Maintain accurate and timely incident and patrol reports
• Identify and report safety hazards, trespassing, or suspicious activity
• Follow all company SOPs and client-specific post orders strictly

Requirements (MANDATORY)

• 24/7 availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
• Clean driving abstract (will be verified)
• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Physically fit and healthy (able to perform extended foot patrols)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Experience Requirements

• Preferred 1–2 years of security experience (Ottawa-based experience preferred)
• Experience in:
• Condo security
• Mobile patrol
• Building inspections
• Proven ability to handle high-responsibility and independent roles
