There are many ways to honour our Veterans. Hiring a Veteran is a great one. In recognition and honour of Remembrance Day, November 11th, Commissionaires Ottawa will be hosting a week-long walk-in hiring event for Veterans, retired or currently serving members of the CAF and RCMP, and their spouses and dependents. No appointment necessary – walk in for an on-the-spot interview and speak to our Talent Team about a position that is right for you!
Commissionaires is Canada’s largest private sector employer of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and RCMP veterans. It was established in 1925 to help veterans transition to civilian life—a social purpose that has supported generations of families and today, benefits 22,000 employees of all ages and backgrounds from coast to coast. As Canada’s only national, not-for-profit security organization, our structure enables more than 90% of spending to flow back to our employees in the form of wages, training, benefits, and employee-centric programs.
Beyond providing meaningful employment opportunities, Commissionaires’ social purpose extends to giving back to veterans, their families, and active military and police members in our communities—such as through national surveys, advocacy and awareness campaigns, municipal task forces, donations and sponsorships, and volunteerism.
Simply walk in to any of the locations listed above between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during the event week. No appointment necessary.
