As a representative of Trico communities, the Mobile Patrol Security Guard is expected to consistently demonstrate the organization’s core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Community and Opportunity, while contributing to a positive team culture and providing exceptional service to residents and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all of Trico Communities Policy’s and Procedures are adhered to.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service to all tenants of the property in a timely manner
- Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation
- Responding to all dispatch calls for Alarms, Building checks and Guard Service needs
- Travel will be required to to multiple sites
- Attending all designated patrols and doing full site patrols
- Driving company vehicles safely and obeying traffic laws
- Acting in a guard capacity as requested
- Completely detailed and accurate shift reports
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A valid Alberta Security Licence required prior to employment
- An up to date Driver’s Abstract
- A recognized and current First Aid and CPR certificate prior to employment
- Minimum of (2) years in a security industry
- Must be certified in Handcuff Training
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience managing challenging security situations
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, verbal and observational skills
- Exceptional judgement, common sense and decision making ability
- Be able to work independently, reacting appropriately in any situation by remaining calm and professional
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, camera recording systems, computers and radios
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
