This position has primary responsibility to patrol campus, facilities and grounds; to observe, report and investigate incidents, ensuring the security and safety of property, staff and students.

Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities (Including but not limited to the following):

• Promote appropriate behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty and staff
• Respond to the emergency situations, provide first aid, and alert additional police or emergency personnel as appropriateHelp to coordinate emergency plans
• Write and submit incident reports as required

• Alberta basic security training certificate and licensed through the Alberta Solicitor General
• Standard First Aid, Level C CPR and AED certificate
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security and/or related industry

Skills and Competencies

• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
