Weekday Day Shift Security Guard – Job Description
We are currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for weekday daytime shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, visitors, and property.
Position Details
- Weekday shifts only
- Day shifts
- Full time and part time positions available
- Locations may include commercial buildings, construction sites, retail plazas, offices, and residential properties
Responsibilities
- Perform regular patrols of the property
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas
- Observe and report suspicious activity
- Complete daily activity and incident reports
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and client requests
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors
- Enforce site rules and safety procedures
- Monitor CCTV systems where applicable
- Ensure all doors, gates, and access points remain secure
Requirements
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation is an asset
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Previous security experience preferred but not required
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
