Security Guard

Boss Security is looking for an experienced, well spoken, professional Security Guard.

Must have a valid Alberta Security Guard Licence, be mobile with a vehicle, any security experience an asset, be comfortable with extreme situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid AB Security Guard License.
• Very reliable and dedicated – must be evident in work history and verifiable through reference checks
• Physically able to walk the site perimeter.
• Strong, clear verbal communication skills and English-language proficiency required
• Technology use – must be able to call, email, text message, open documents, and use security and time tracking apps on a company cell phone
• Ability to write clearly (hand-write) information in a daily log when necessary
• Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately to inquiries from management and the client
• Cultural awareness and understanding considered a valuable asset
• Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment by enforcing company policies and safety regulations.

Pay: $17.00-$17.75 per hour
