We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and a background in law enforcement or security operations. Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance footage using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Assist visitors and staff with inquiries related to security procedures or access points
• Conduct loss prevention activities by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or fraud

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is highly desirable
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with staff and visitors
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly to incidents
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
