Security Guard

We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Security Guards to join our team on a part-time basis. Our team provides security services at a contracted residential building, and we are looking for guards who can assist with regular site coverage, party room security, and escort services. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours, including occasional shifts to cover staff absences, scheduled time off, special events, and additional security requirements.

## Key Responsibilities

**Building Security**

* Monitor the building and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.

* Control access to the premises and verify visitors when required.

* Conduct patrols and monitor security cameras, where applicable.

* Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and incidents.

* Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.

* Assist residents and visitors with inquiries while providing professional customer service.

**Party Room Security**

* Provide security coverage during resident events and private party room bookings.

* Monitor party room activities and ensure compliance with building rules and regulations.

* Verify authorized use of the party room and monitor guest access when required.

* Address disturbances professionally and report violations or incidents to management.

* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment for residents and their guests.

**Escort Guard Services**

* Provide escort services as assigned, following site-specific instructions and procedures.

* Accompany individuals when required to help maintain safety and security.

* Remain alert to potential risks and report concerns promptly.

* Maintain professional communication and complete any required shift documentation.

**General Duties**

* Follow site-specific security procedures and emergency protocols.

* Communicate important information during shift handovers.

* Arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance.

* Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

## Qualifications and Requirements

* Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.

* Strong communication, observation, and customer service skills.

* Reliable, punctual, and professional.

* Ability to remain alert and handle challenging situations calmly.

* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

* Previous experience in residential security, event security, or escort services is an asset.

* Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional short-notice coverage.

* Legally eligible to work in Canada.

## Employment Details

* Part-time, casual, and on-call opportunities.
