Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas regularly to deter suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activity across the premises in real-time
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and packages to prevent theft or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate actions and communication with emergency responders if necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes
• Enforce loss prevention strategies by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures

Requirements

• Proven experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and familiarity with CCTV systems is essential
• Strong understanding of loss prevention methods and security protocols
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and decisive during emergencies or high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public
• Must be physically capable of standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods

Pay: $24.78-$26.71 per hour
