Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and monitoring of premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents, assessing situations as they arise.
• Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify security risks or hazards.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain CPR certification.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for incident reporting or investigations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and security protocols is advantageous.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills are essential for effectively handling difficult situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
