Fire Watch Security Officer – Overnight Shift

Goliath Protective Services is seeking a dependable security officer for an overnight fire watch assignment.

Location: 25011 SW 130th Ave, Princeton, FL 33032
Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an alert and active fire watch throughout the assigned shift.
• Patrol designated areas every 30 minutes, or more frequently if required by site instructions.
• Monitor for smoke, fire, burning odors, and visible fire hazards.
• Check that exits, evacuation routes, and access for emergency responders remain clear.
• Immediately call 911 if a fire is discovered, initiate notifications and evacuation procedures according to site instructions, and notify the supervisor.
• Submit a Daily Activity Report (DAR) every 30 minutes documenting patrol times, areas inspected, observations, and actions taken.
• Remain on duty until properly relieved or released by the supervisor.

Candidates must be reliable, observant, able to walk regular patrols, and capable of completing accurate written reports. Officers must follow the site’s approved fire watch procedures and any applicable fire department requirements.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Security: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Class D Security (Required)
• Driver’s License (Required)

• Homestead, FL 33032 (Required)
