Event Security Guards – Austin, TX

This is a temporary event security assignment with multiple work dates available. Additional information regarding the event, exact location, reporting instructions, shift times, and assignments will be provided to selected applicants during the hiring/onboarding process.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE A VALID TEXAS SECURITY GUARD CARD/LICENSE.

Applicants without the required Texas security credentials will not be considered for this assignment.

Candidates should also:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be professional, dependable, and punctual
• Be comfortable working in a large event environment
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods
• Be able to follow instructions from supervisors and event management
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Have reliable transportation to the Austin, TX area
• Be available to start immediately

POSSIBLE DUTIES

Assignments may include:

• Access control
• Credential/checkpoint monitoring
• Crowd management
• Perimeter monitoring
• Restricted-area monitoring
• Guest assistance and direction
• General event security
• Reporting incidents or concerns to supervisors
