Front Desk and Security Specialist

Job Overview

The Front Desk & Security Specialist is the signature front-door presence at the luxury hospitality establishment with a discreet security function. This role is the first face the guests see, responsible for extending a polished, personal welcome while quietly confirming that everyone arriving is meant to be on property. You’ll work closely with valet and security teams to ensure every arrival feels seamless and warm.

Duties & Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests by name and extend a warm, high-touch welcome, including offering chilled towels and water. Coordinate with the valet team to ensure smooth, elegant vehicle arrival and departure. Confirm that arriving guests are expected and authorized, checking reservations with tact and discretion. Maintain a composed, professional presence at the entrance at all times, including during high-volume events. Monitor the arrival area for anything out of the ordinary and escalate concerns to security or management as needed. Communicate proactively with front desk, events, and management teams regarding VIP arrivals, member preferences, and access issues.

Skills & Qualifications

Polished, professional presence with genuine warmth and hospitality instincts. Strong situational awareness and sound judgment in maintaining access standards firmly but graciously. Excellent memory for names and faces. Prior experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, high-end residential, or security/concierge roles preferred. Ability to remain composed and attentive during long shifts, inclement weather, and large-scale events. Professional appearance and grooming consistent with a luxury brand standard. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event nights.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
