Security Guard

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Security Guard, where your primary mission will be to ensure the safety and security of our facility and its occupants. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment by monitoring activities, conducting surveillance, and responding to incidents. Your vigilance and proactive approach will help us create a secure atmosphere for everyone.

What you’ll do

• Monitor and authorize access to the premises for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Operate CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems to observe and document activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
• Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent loss and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Document all incidents and maintain accurate records of daily activities, including shift reports.
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate situations and resolve disputes effectively.
• Provide first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) assistance when required.

Skills

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively.
• First aid certification is essential; CPR certification is preferred.
• Military background is a plus, showcasing discipline and commitment to safety.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
