Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold the safety and security of our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Duties

• Monitor and control access to the facility using access control systems, verifying identities of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including indoor and outdoor areas, to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure perimeter security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities.
• Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and assist law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve disputes or investigate incidents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and access control systems.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use are preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and physical security duties.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and perform conflict management effectively.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and enforce compliance with security regulations.

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
