35 hours per week. Evening shifts. Hours will vary based on operational needs.

Job Reports To:

Manager, Security Services

Key Activities

Under the direction of the Manager of Security Services, the Evening Facilities Supervisor will be responsible of a group of security officers who work around the clock to ensure the building is safe and secure for employees, artists, patrons and public., This includes addressing health and safety measures and any emergencies that may arise.

Skill Requirements

  • College diploma in Police Foundations, Business Administration, or demonstrated equivalent experience in security related field;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in a similar position with supervisory
  • duties;
  • Fluently bilingual in both official languages;
  • Experience in a unionized environment and interpretation of collective agreements;
  • Must have very good verbal communications skills with solid writing skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Superior customer service experience;
  • Ability to draft policies and procedures;
  • Knowledge of the latest security and emergency techniques and technology;
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Teams;
  • Good judgment, positive attitude and flexibility;
  • Action oriented and ability to react and/or give direction in stressful situations;
  • Must possess valid driver’s license, First Aid, CPR certificates;
  • Experience with security camera systems an asset;
  • Evening shifts. Hours will vary based on operational needs;
  • A past record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality is a requirement. *
