Mobile Security Supervisor – Markham

We are currently actively recruiting for a full-time Mobile Security Guard. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals considering a career in law enforcement to gain leadership experience. We also also provide Supervisor letters.

Employees will be expected to attend company head office in Markham, then use the company vehicle to patrol various client sites in Markham and Toronto.

Shift Timings:

Friday to Sunday, 2030h – 0730h (33 hours/week)

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid Ontario G2 or G Class License
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C + AED
• A clear driving record – no accidents or tickets (moving violations or other – this will be verified), or at fault accidents
• At least 1 year experience in security
• At least 3 years of continuous personal vehicle insurance history in Canada is required by our vehicle insurance company – letters or insurance documents will be requested to verify
• Some Supervisor experience preferred

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Roaming client site in our company vehicle and complete walking patrols
• Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act when necessary
• Ensuring the vehicle is in working order by completing an inspection checklist at the beginning and end of each shift, and reporting issues to management
• Responding to, assessing and documenting any security infractions
• Fielding calls to determine when to contact upper management for assistance
• Fielding calls to assist with sick call offs/scheduling on the overnight shift
• Incident report writing
• Parking enforcement on private property
• Various request from office management as necessary

Pay: $18.75-$19.75 per hour
