Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance, conflict management, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent judgment, and a commitment to public safety. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly valued. Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies with appropriate measures
• Enforce property rules and regulations while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
• Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs
• Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries as needed
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention
• Perform first aid or CPR in case of medical emergencies when necessary
• Manage loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and intervening when appropriate
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats or misconduct

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation is advantageous
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts and work independently in various environments

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
