Job Description

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team in the vibrant Entertainment District of San Jose. This part-time graveyard shift position requires a dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of patrons, staff, and property during nighttime hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions.
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the entertainment district.
• Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management and law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist patrons and staff with safety-related concerns.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security or related field.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently during graveyard shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Valid security officer license or certification preferred.
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
