Flex Security Officer

Overview
The Flex Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across various locations. This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to different environments and respond effectively to various security challenges. The Flex Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing assistance in emergency situations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Engage in conflict management and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of conflict management strategies.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
