Unarmed Security Guard

We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Unarmed Retail Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and property while delivering excellent customer service. Guards will monitor the premises, deter theft and suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned retail locations on foot to maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor customer and employee activity to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Control access to restricted areas when required.
• Work closely with store management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide courteous assistance and exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff.
• Enforce company policies and security procedures professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued Guard Card (required if applicable).
• Previous retail security, customer service, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must pass a background check and any required pre-employment screening.

Schedule

• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available
• Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
