Job Description:

We are now hiring for Overnight and Daytime Security Officers at Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park. Responsible for the security of the location during nighttime and daytime hours. Works closely with Security Management and local enforcement agencies to monitor and protect assets and deter unauthorized individuals from accessing the location. Will ensure the security of the property through the use of many industry related tools such as patrol vehicles, CCTV, radios, and burglar alarms. Training is provided; this is an entry level position.

Shift & Hours:

Morning Shift Officer: 5:45am – 2:00pm; 16- 40 hours per week.

Swing Shift Officer: 1:45pm – 10:00pm; 16- 40 hours per week.

Grave Shift/ Overnight Officer: Anytime between 9:45pm – 6:00am; 16- 40 hours per week.

Shift Duties:

• Conducts safety screenings for all park guests and employees
• Secure premises and personnel by vehicle patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings and access points; permitting entry of authorized personnel.
• Observe and report all incidents and accidents
• Must be organized and alert when making decisions in the event of an emergency
• Work closely with local enforcement agencies to ensure the protection of the premises
• Other duties may be assigned. Develop resume-building skills to help achieve your career goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid CA Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, criminal, DMV.
