Reserve Security Officers (hours are not guaranteed)

Execushield serves a diverse portfolio of clients. We have fluctuating staffing needs and are seeking highly qualified candidates to join our reserve roster. Officers who are hired for this position, will provide general availability and be contacted as schedules are built or asked if they can cover call-offs.

Reserve Security Officer candidates should:

· Have regular weekend availability.

· Be responsive with the scheduling and staffing teams requests.

· Be willing to complete all state mandated BSIS Security Guard Training (unpaid classes will be provided).

· Have at least two years of security experience armed/ 1 year unarmed.

· Have a professional appearance and demeanor.

· Be able to work independently at various individual officer security posts.

· Have reliable personal transportation (no mass transit candidates should apply).

· Be extremely reliable.

Reserve Security Offices are not guaranteed hours or a regular schedule, however they will be able to transition into permanent part time and full-time positions if desired.

Applicants should meet the minimum requirements, with a desire to obtain further training to improve and provide a professional safe environment.

Our security operations are led by former/current military and law enforcement personnel and as a direct result our Officers are held to a higher standard.

Employment Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Minimum Two (2) years security guard experience preferred armed
• Minimum One (1) year security guard experience preferred unarmed
• Current BSIS Guard Card (Powers of arrest certification)
• Required firearm permits for armed security position
• Be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented framework

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies situations where security violations have occurred and takes reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and company/customer assets.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
