School Crossing Guard

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.

Duties:
– Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersections
– Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to cross
– Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staff
– Report any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authorities
– Assist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulations

Requirements:
– Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people
– Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
– Understanding of compliance management related to traffic regulations
– CPR certification preferred but not required.
– Ability to monitor vital signs and respond appropriately in emergency situations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
