As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to requests, and communicate clearly while documenting activities and observations. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site staff, patients, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance from on-site personnel and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assisting with sign-in processes, badge or credential checks, and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site policy.
• Complete timely security-related reports and documentation, communicate relevant observations to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 6 months of security experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
