Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal operational effectiveness
• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee access control systems to regulate entry points for staff, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct thorough background checks on new hires and perform ongoing screening to uphold security integrity
• Coordinate emergency response efforts including first aid and CPR procedures, ensuring readiness for various incidents
• Utilize surveillance systems to monitor premises continuously, identifying potential threats or breaches proactively
• Manage incident reporting by documenting security events accurately and preparing detailed reports for management review

Requirements

• Proven experience in security operations management or law enforcement with a strong understanding of physical security practices
• Knowledge of security systems such as access control, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and other related technology
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent conflict management and communication skills
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and operational policies
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or emergency situations
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in report writing and documentation using Microsoft Office tools
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or emergency response are highly desirable; military or law enforcement background is a plus
