Job Title: Part-Time Security Officer – Morning Shift

Location: San Marcos, CA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Friday | M/T/TH/F: 7AM- 12PM W: 8:30PM – 12PM

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our Oceanside team. This role is an excellent fit for individuals looking to earn additional income, maintain work–life balance, and be part of a supportive and professional security team.

Position Overview

As an Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer, you will help maintain safety and order at the site through active patrols, customer engagement, and incident response. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols to monitor the property and maintain visibility
• Manage crowd control and ensure a safe, orderly environment
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors
• Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or safety concerns
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
• Maintain communication with supervisors and site management
• Enforce site policies and uphold company standards of professionalism

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• At least 1 year of security experience (Required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols
