Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Duties

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, ensuring all cameras are operational and monitoring feeds for any unusual activity.
• Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or emergencies.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle disputes or confrontations.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures; certification preferred.
• Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security protocols.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel. This position is essential for ensuring the safety of our environment, requiring a dedicated individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of security.
