Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and energetic Event Security Guard with a valid Guard Card to ensure the safety and security of event venues, attendees, staff, and property. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, managing conflicts, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive presence will help create a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone involved. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of large-scale events, ensuring safety while upholding professional standards.

Duties

• Control access to event venues by verifying credentials and issuing passes to authorized personnel, attendees, vendors, and contractors
• Monitor crowd behavior and manage conflicts effectively through conflict management techniques to prevent escalation
• Enforce event policies and safety protocols while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor
• Conduct loss prevention activities by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening appropriately

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with security procedures including loss prevention strategies and conflict management skills
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for surveillance and incident detection
