Security Officer

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, employees, and visitors. This is a vital role that requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Duties:** – Provide security services to the facility, including patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV cameras, and responding to alarms. – Conduct regular rounds of the facility to identify potential security risks and take corrective action. – Screen visitors and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to the facility. – Use conflict management skills to de-escalate situations and maintain a safe and secure environment. – Perform loss prevention duties, including monitoring merchandise and inventory. – Respond to emergency situations, including fires and medical emergencies, and provide first aid and CPR when necessary. – Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times, interacting with employees and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner. – Work closely with other security personnel to ensure that the facility is secure and that all security protocols are followed. **Experience:** – Previous experience in a security-related role is required, preferably in law enforcement or a related field. – Possess a certificate in security or a related field, such as first aid or CPR. – Demonstrated experience in conflict management and loss prevention. – Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance technology. – A background in the military is an asset, as it demonstrates the ability to follow orders and work in a team environment. – Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to handle emergency situations with confidence and professionalism.
