Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular walk arounds to assure everyone has paid admission
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary. First aid certification not required, but preferred.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
• Document incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping purposes.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
