Unarmed Security Officer – Graveyard

Allstate Security is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a hotel assignment in San Diego. This opportunity is ideal for someone who stays alert overnight, communicates clearly, and takes pride in helping guests and staff feel safe and welcome.

Pay & Schedule

• 
  Pay: $21.00 per hour.
• 
  Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. the following morning.
• 
  Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• 
  Location: San Diego, CA 92101.
• 
  Reports to: Jelani James.

Shifts begin on the days listed. For example, the Friday shift ends Saturday morning, and the Tuesday shift ends Wednesday morning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence and provide courteous service to guests and staff.
• Follow site post orders, contract standards, and established security procedures.
• Observe assigned areas for safety concerns and report unusual activity promptly.
• Respond calmly to onsite incidents and request appropriate assistance according to company procedures.
• Complete clear, accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Follow site safety programs and communicate site-specific hazards to the appropriate team members.

Operational Expectations

• Arrive on time and remain attentive throughout the overnight shift.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful communication.
• Use sound judgment, follow instructions, and keep supervisors informed of concerns.
• Be available for the full Friday–Tuesday overnight schedule.

Requirements

• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• Ability to meet the position’s background-screening and documentation requirements, including proof of residency.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing for an eight-hour shift.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong customer service skills and clear spoken and written English for communication and reporting.
• Professional conduct and a well-groomed appearance.

Additional Skills

Multilingual skills are a plus.
