Armed Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible presence, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents. You will check customers Id as they walk in. This job will require you to work 6pm-12am, Wednesdays- Saturday. This shop is also a smoking lounge so it’s best if you are comfortable with being around that.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible security presence to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Enforce access control protocols for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identification and documentation as needed.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly.
• Make sure everyone is 21 and up before entering
• Keep an eye while customers are purchising items or being shown items

Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with security procedures, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols. Your dedication will help create a secure space where everyone can thrive!

Pay: $17.00 – $18.50 per hour
