Unarmed Security Officer (Active Government Security Clearance)

SMITH PROTECTIVE SERVICES, INC. is seeking highly motivated, vigilant, and dedicated people with an active United States Government Secret Security clearance for Security Officer positions for a government and industrial research and development facility headquartered here in San Antonio, Texas.

COMPENSATION:

• Signing bonus of $200.00 (First payment of $100.00 issued after the first consecutive 40 hours worked and the second payment of $100.00 issued after 30-days of fulltime employment).

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THESE BASIC SECURITY OFFICER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Have an active United States Government Secret Security clearance.
• Have a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Have a current or the ability to obtain a Private Security License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a working telephone.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Not convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
• Be willing to submit to a physical and a drug screen.
• Agree to an in-depth background check including but not limited to, criminal history, work performance, and character references.
• Must have a United States Goverment Secuirty Clearance*

*A security clearance allows an individual filling a specific position to have access to classified national security information up to and including the level of clearance that they hold as long as the individual has a “need to know” the information and signed a non-disclosure agreement.
