What you get to do:
In this role, you will ensure the highest level of guest safety, security and satisfaction. You will serve in a number of key roles providing the professional demeanor and reassuring presence that gives guests and ambassadors peace of mind and enhances their overall park experience. Specifically, you will:
- Provide guests and team members with safe and secure environment
- Practice safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipment
- Work security checkpoints
- Complete general security tasks
- Inspect all bags to prevent the introduction of contraband into the park
- Monitor all vehicles and employees entering and exiting the park
- Check ID cards and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic
- Complete security lockdowns after operating hours
- Perform routine foot and vehicle patrols
- Respond and provide aid for emergency situations
- Maintain order in large crowds and perform traffic control
- Testify in court when necessary
- Serve as the Park Dispatcher, Communications Center, and Emergency Operations Center Officer
- Work as Security Lead Officer or Officer in Charge (OIC) in the absence of an on-site supervisor
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification or able to obtain them
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to maintain calm and order in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work with large crowds in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
