Security Officer (Level 3 Armed)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. We are specifically looking for an armed officer with an active level 3 guard card and prior experience in bars and clubs as well as venues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage conflicts with professionalism. The Security Officer will monitor premises through routine patrol and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure effective monitoring of premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of property and facilities to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred not required.
• Active level 3 Texas Guard Card
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques and the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential security threats.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and interaction with others.
