Armed Security Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PART TIME Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement, conflict management, and loss prevention, as well as a commitment to upholding our organization's values of professionalism, integrity, and respect.

Duties:

– Patrol the facility, grounds, and surrounding areas to detect and prevent any potential security breaches.
– Provide visible presence and maintain a high level of awareness of the environment.
– Conduct regular security checks on all areas of the facility, including storage rooms, offices, and common areas.
– Engage in conflict management and de-escalation techniques to prevent and manage security incidents.
– Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with employees, visitors, and customers.
– Participate in surveillance and monitoring to identify potential security risks.
– Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and support.
– Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure effective security measures are in place.
– Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and expand knowledge of security procedures and best practices.

Skills:

– Proven experience in loss prevention and security management.
– Strong background in law enforcement or a related field.
– Possession of a valid certificate or certification related to security or law enforcement.
– Ability to work in a militarized environment.
– Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
