Security Officer (Mobile Patrol)

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer specializing in Mobile Patrol to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises. This role involves conducting regular patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and relevant experience in law enforcement or security operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where maintaining safety is paramount.

Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 12pm-10:30pm

Pay rate: $17/hr

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine mobile patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety compliance
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR if necessary
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management review
• Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and intervening in potential theft or vandalism activities
• Maintain a visible security presence to reassure staff, visitors, and clients
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Uphold company policies and procedures related to security operations and conflict management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations professionally
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently during mobile patrols and respond effectively to emergencies
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus
