You will conduct routine patrols and security-related checks, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents, and respond to guest and employee questions with professional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, coordinating with site staff, and requesting public emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor management, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns to site leadership.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate significant observations to supervisors and/or site contacts, and follow post orders for shift turnover and incident documentation.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
