As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, document activity, and communicate clearly while delivering a customer-first experience. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout telecom and technology-focused facilities, including offices, common areas, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying authorization, issuing directions, and documenting entries and/or exits per site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card and/or security-related license preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
