Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to maintain safety and security within our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, and ensuring a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to respond effectively to various situations. A key aspect of the position involves report writing to document incidents accurately and thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect premises for signs of security breaches or hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, providing detailed reports of what is observed.
• Engage with community members in a professional manner to promote safety awareness.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license; unarmed guard card preferred.
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent observational skills and situational awareness.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties effectively.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on patrol area.
