Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Northwest of Encanto Village in Phoenix)

Schedule:
Saturday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview:
Superior Protection Services is seeking a dependable and customer service-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services for a school campus in Phoenix, Arizona. This position requires maintaining a strong visible presence while conducting exterior patrols throughout the campus using a golf cart and on foot.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and comfortable working outdoors while interacting with students, staff, visitors, and faculty members. The officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting suspicious activity, enforcing site policies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent walking, standing, operating a golf cart, and working outdoors for extended periods. Candidates must be able to perform patrol duties throughout the campus during 12-hour shifts and work comfortably in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine exterior patrols of the campus using a golf cart and on foot
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter trespassing, loitering, and other unauthorized activity
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or security concerns
• Identify and report maintenance or safety hazards to management
• Complete hourly patrols and document activities using TrackTik
• Write detailed incident, activity, and daily reports
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and security procedures
• Respond appropriately to incidents and notify supervisors when necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Guard Card required – No exceptions
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience required
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Pay: $20.00 per hour
