Job Title: Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer (Commercial Plaza) – MUST BE 24+

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour (Paid Bi-Weekly)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Sundance area, just north of Buckeye off Interstate 10)

Schedule: (One schedule, not separate)

• Wednesday – Thursday | 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday – Sunday | 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview:

Superior Protection Services is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide security services for a commercial plaza in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for conducting highly visible vehicle patrols throughout the property to deter criminal activity, identify safety concerns, and maintain a safe environment for tenants, customers, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will be observant, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions while maintaining a professional presence. This is an observe-and-report position that emphasizes prevention, situational awareness, detailed documentation, and exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent vehicle patrols, occasional foot patrols, standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods. Candidates must be able to work in various weather conditions and occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct armed vehicle patrols of the assigned commercial property
• Maintain a strong visible presence to deter criminal activity and unauthorized behavior
• Monitor for loitering, trespassing, suspicious activity, and safety hazards
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, property damage, and slip/trip/fall hazards
• Respond to service calls and site-related incidents, including bank-related incidents when applicable
• Politely direct unauthorized individuals to leave the property when appropriate
• Contact local law enforcement for trespassing assistance when necessary
• Complete patrol reports, incident reports, and daily activity reports in TrackTik
• Take photographs of incidents, hazards, and property discrepancies
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with tenants, customers, and the public
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and security procedures
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 24 years of age or older
• Active Arizona Armed Guard Card required
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of armed security, patrol, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred
• Ability to safely carry and operate a firearm in accordance with company policy and Arizona law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write clear, accurate, and detailed reports
• Comfortable using mobile reporting systems (TrackTik experience preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Must pass a background check and all required firearms qualifications
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
