Full Time Unarmed Security Guard for Roving post – 27Collab

Shepherd Security is a private security organization that has provided exceptional safety and security services to our partners across the Phoenix valley for over 15 years. We are offering an immediate job opportunity as a Security Guard

This role will include roving to multiple retail businesses, and collaborating closely with a nonprofit organization, in a community building effort.

Expectations

• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and maintain logs of daily activities
• Consistent/ clear messaging to all trespassers regarding the footprint of enforcement and the actions that will be taken if they should return
• Ongoing reports to directly to client of any environmental concern that is/could attract time. Including hot spots for vagrancy
• Enforcing ‘no trespassing’ on side walks (warning/calling PD) if individuals move onto sidewalks in rebellion to being trespassed
• Need to be able to track trespasses/individuals for future reference
• Tracking/reporting of # of inspections, # of trespasses, Property Alert Notifications, # of times PD was called
• Attending property meetings as requested
• Collaborating with the clients partners – Vigilant Towing, Koro Cameras, Phoenix PD

Shepherd Security is the safety provider for a variety of convenience stores, shopping centers, apartment complexes, hotels, construction sites, office buildings, special events, and more.

Your primary responsibilities as a Security Guard are as follows:

• Managing exterior of stores
• Perform security patrols of the designated area
• Submit detailed hourly activity reports via AccountAbility app
• Wear a Body Cam throughout the entirety of the shift
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, theft, or carrying forbidden articles

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid AZ Guard Card
• Own a smartphone
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Have a clean 3 yr Arizona driving record and provide proof before being hired.
